„Level Orange“
I had the feeling, I really entered another world. But it was not the United States of America I imagined, it was a world of security already started in Frankfurt/ Main, Germany.
The rules and controlpatterns of this world I was unable to understand.
Explanations not to be given. I felt lost in this atmosphere of a no named fear.
Reaching the United States of America, meaning: finally being in Houston/Texas didn't really changed my feeling.
Since this December 2006 in Houston, I observe the developments of this world of security carefully.
According to my own experiences with violence I consider security as an illusion.
We need this illusion to survive, I am sure, but on the other hand we must keep in mind that we can not live without trust and freedom either.
My reasons to use these negatives of mine which were damaged by x-ray in the process of security controls, where to show, that there is already a price we pay for a security that makes me feel more than unsafe.
My hope is, that with a new goverment of the United States of America the focus of our world will change from fear to trust again.
